Short of 2003 this was the most exciting and enjoyable season I've ever experienced and I've been following Syracuse since 1972.

The asterisk is because this team did not have the services of a very important player for the entire season. That player is Mookie Jones.

I can not abide the asterisk. Our team consists of the eligible players on the court and on the bench. BE champs and Regional Finalists is a strong showing for the controversies and distractions that this team had to endure.
