We haven’t had an all-American guard since Sherman Douglas.
That amazed me when I looked at it.
Our system is tailored to high end talent as well.

Yup. I think Melo leading Cuse to that title pretty much put an end to that type of stuff though.

That Cuse team was overlooked almost the whole regular season as far as rankings and national recognition. Ridiculous really. 23-4 and they more than passed the eye test if you actually watched them play.
 
Jim Boeheim said the one of the reasons Melo didn’t win the Wooden award was he didn’t have the GPA to be eligible.

Melo is the greatest one and done ever.
Only Anthony Davis is in the argument IMO.
