If Hopkins does take a head coaching job elsewhere, will he be the next SU head coach. Would he ever be a head coach at SU? I'm not implying he would no longer be considered but would a) the timing be wrong for him to change jobs b) another candidate appear and be in a position to move ahead of Mike on the list.
