With both programs moving in a positive direction, this should become a real rivalry, especially since it’s be the final game of every season. This year’s game will surely have some implications (especially in the off-chance bc takes out Clemson next week), or if only for bowl slotting. I’d say, unlike in basketball, both teams lack a natural rival in football. Bc isn’t very popular, but I’d still say this is a good thing for SU football.
