[QUOTE="SkanSU, post: 139242, member: 53"] I hate these statistics b/c they are always so skewed. But for the sake of posterity SU is in top 20 in 11/15 statistical categories and 32nd in scoring defense. Similarly the individual statistics are so dependent on several variables inc. mpg and qualiity of competition. With JB playing 10 players/game (approx) that would obviously cut down on the opportunity to get more points, blocks, rebounds, assists, etc. Not 1 SU player averages over 30'/game and only 1 (KJo) averages over 25'/game. Let'smake some comparisons: Leaderin ppg is Damian Lillard (Weber State: 25.2 p/g) but averages 33.2'/game against a very weak sister schedule. Other ppg leaders include Terrell Soglin (Md: 31.6'/g), Kevin Jones (WVU: 36.8'/g), Will Barton (Memphis: 35.8 m/g). Let's take Blocked Shots (and Fab is up there despite limited m/g): Anthony Davis (UK: 28.9'/g- give the deil his due he is good); Dieng (L'ville: 30.9'/g), and Roberson (Grambling state: 29.7 m/g - in the worst conference in the world!! Grambling is 0-11). I guess what I am saying is that t is not surprising that our kids aren't higher on the list ... but I would rather have the best balanced 10 man team with the 2 most important statistics (#1 and 15-0) than have a high statistical star that you have to play for 35' to be competitive.
