Picking us to lose by anywhere from 2 to 4 points isn't the craziest thing in the world. I mean, yeah, they can pick SU to win every game, and we'll all feel great, but it's not like those predictions scream anti-SU bias.
In truth, what we saw Saturday was something I thought we were capable of, but certainly wasn't sure if or when we were going to pull it off. It was a welcomed continuation of the physical football that Marrone started.
Now that I've seen it, and the team knows it can do it, let's see what people predict from here. GT probably isn't quite the mess that NC State is. But they're in a slump and coming off the night trip to Provo, so we couldn't ask to play them at a better time. What separates them from NC State is that their offense is more capable of a quick strike (on the ground, or a long pass to a completely uncovered WR based on their style).
Saturday is another winnable game, but if the PS writers don't think so, so be it. We're not exactly in the top 25 or anywhere near the others receiving votes category.
People got upset when Axe picked Clemson to crush us.
