Another great story. As bad as football may be for concussions, it may be even better for helping give some people purpose and dreams. I know it always motivated me through middle school and high school to be able to play on the team. Best of luck to him, we were lucky to have him on the team.

Yes, nice job by Ralph. Great read. I think the discipline and hard work that football requires turna around more inner city kids than any other sport. It is the also the biggest reason Scott Shafer is a football coach.

Seems like just yesterday that he was a late addition... like, a few days before the start of summer session. Complete after thought who didn't have scholarship opportunities. To go from that to a four year contributor and likely NFL draft pick is a testament to the hard work and effort he's put in.
