Most people would be flabbergasted if Cuse is able to cover this spread. There shouldn't be any excuses for the players. This game will be 100% on the coaches. All they have to do is keep these guys motivated before going home for a couple off days. If the player's heads are in the game this is an easy 30 point win.

It doesn't matter what's happened the last three games. I fully expect them to cover the spread.

They should win big but we haven’t seen that at all in our last five games against mid-majors, one being an outright loss. The only thing different about this team thus far is the Tennessee win. All else has been same ole Cuse under Red(and the last several years under JB)

The real question I'm going to have to internally deal with. Do I get back on the bandwagon if we actually show up to play and then somehow beat Clemson and Donnie looks really good? Do I just blackout these last 4-5 buy games? Do I just chalk it up to the team waiting for Donnie to be back? I don't know

that makes two of us.

Cuse has to be able to cover this spread and show something, and build confidence in themselves before the ACC games start. wishful thinking anyway
It's not wishful thinking. Stonehill is one of the worst teams in D1. Our players are so much better-bigger, stronger, faster. Like I said, this one is all on the prep. There is no reason the coaches shouldn't be able to motivate the players to play well for 40 minutes, and then they get to go home for three days before they report back on the 26th.

It shouldn't have to be like a light switch that you turn off or on. It should automatically be on.

40 plus pt win over Stonehill and 6-0 start to ACC play and I’ll consider being back in camp optimist. Clemson now dropped in the Net after squeaking by cincy and highly unlikely they are a Q1 game. Thus we are not getting another Q1 game unless Clemson makes a jump until end of Jan.. possibly sooner if Miami jumps up as well before we play them.

I live 2 miles from Stonehill. Their hc helped me w my travel hoops team 8 years ago or so . He would do teach ins for the coaches

I’ve spent my entire adult life around Stonehill. Running, classes, family teaching there

It means a lot tonite

I didn't even know Stonehill existed prior to this season.

Must be NAIA or Division VI right?

Apparently they're closed for the night......

Amazingly, Cuse really stepped it up and outscored Stonehill 36-13 over the last 17 minutes. And if Lobdell didn't foul on a three attempt at the very end, this was a 31 point spread.

Still giving up too many open 3 point attempts, but anytime you hold an opponent under 50, its a great defensive effort.
