Syracuse football doesn’t benefit from an eight game ACC schedule

Not a real good article. Right now the correct call is the status quo until the NCAA looks at the legislation on divisions.
Correct. If there is any possibility the rule will be changed, it is stupid to change anything before the rules change.

And the odds are very good the rules will be changed.

Aside from the recent abberation, Syracuse scheduling should not be affected by the 8+1 or a 9 game ACC requirement. Syracuse historically has scheduled mostly P5 schools.

Honestly we aren't high enough on the ACC pecking order to expect anything more than to have voice in the room. The ACC needs to give a lot of leeway to what Florida State/Clemson want on football scheduling decisions until everyone else picks up the slack. I am not saying do whatever they want, but their voices should carry more weight in football scheduling decisions. The 3+5+5 model would appease everyone I believe, but rotating divisions is another option if they keep the 8 game schedule.
