It is OK under most deals to say "well... it's more than this but it isn't quite as high as that" but not actually give the number.

To clarify what I was saying.  If the majority of neutral site "deals" are one or 2 games where the number IS disclosed, like the Michigan vs. Alabama game (1 game "deal" I believe) at $4.7 mil.  If Giansante says basically "our deal is the most lucrative deal at the time it was signed".  Wouldn't it stand to reason that it was higher per game than that one particular game?

I do understand that  what you are saying.  If our deal was $15 mil for 4 games, it won't be per game as lucrative as the MI/ALA game on it's own.  But that would be comparing Apples to Oranges.  It also wouldn't be accurate to say that "Our deal is better than any deal at the time" making that comparison.
