Your responses in these threads having me thinking you work for the SU AD. Nobody can do anything wrong. Gross talked after I among others called on him to do so a week ago. I doubt I had anything to do with it, but I hope my thread/messages gave some ammo for the media to ask Gross. The facts Gross have said in the media are talking points 101 that he wants in the media. People can believe it or they can be skeptical as the information isn't complete. When your in for a penny your in for a pound in my opinion and Gross has never said if that fee MetLife paid us was for each game or the total deal. That is a simple question he could answer if he wanted to be transparent. Gross is no moron he knows a portion of his fanbase knows he made our football program look like a mid major by playing home games 300 miles from campus. Most of the people debating me fail to realize this and That is what draws my frustration/anger. Gross loves those fans because they let him off the hook. These PR spin interviews are to try to rehab the information as much as he can without saying I took the money for home games. Go ahead with your positive spin I am glad you don't care Notre Dame has treated Syracuse football like we are Central Michigan because that doesn't matter to you. Every program in the country could always use more $$$ what did that MetLife money do for the SU program. That money wouldn't have paid for the IPF as the BOT okay we within the year and that was with ACC 20 million dollars coming in annually these MetLife games wouldn't have covered the IPF. Gross wants NYC games fine then get teams to play us 1 off in MetLife or yankee stadium. I highly doubt the terms of the contract were confidential as Grpss/Giancante have tried to tell us without giving a hard number because they want positive spin.
