Kaiser you are smarter than this. Either you are making mistakes on accident which I believe or you want to gloss over facts against you . First it is not one game it is 2 games that Notre Dame is holding us over the barrel. How many teams from major conferences play "home" games 300 miles from campus? The answer is major teams don't play home games 300 miles from campus. It reeks of desperation for money which is the excuse Gross has given. If we played neutral site games at MetLife stadium we would be doing what a lot of schools are doing and playing games in NFL stadiums without having to play road games on the opponent's home field. You ignore this point because it shows how small time we are by playing these games. Notre Dame put a clown suit on Syracuse football. Syracuse didn't need Notre Dame games. I understand you like NYC games and many others do as well. I do not hate MetLife games I just want people to stop looking at the deal we made and not call out lipstick on a pig deal we signed with Notre Dame and for people to stop ignoring it. It is okay to admit it was a crap deal for Syracuse football. We still have to play those games at South Bend they are just being delayed. If we can get teams to play us in MetLife without playing a return game on their campus then we should do it. For example say Texas said we will play you at MetLife Stadium and you will play us at JerryWorld then that works. Both teams would be playing off campus in areas Dallas for Texas, New York City for Syracuse. I would rather play true home/homes but this type of deal would be okay because its home-neutral/home-neutral. Playing at Texas and then our home game at MetLife is smalltime mid major which is what Notre Dame did to us.
