The question remains on this recurring theme is it the players or the coaches who are most to blame? Some say our players just aren't very good and that is why they are so penalty prone. Others say the coaches are to blame for not teaching proper technique. Could it be a combination of these two factors or are the refs just out to get us?

Whatever it is, it's gotten real old.

6 offsides against us Sat. That has nothing to do with players trying too hard. It's mental breakdowns and lack of game discipline. Since my first day of modified football, the WRs were told ignore the cadence, look at the ball and don't move until it does. Then when guys do jump offsides they continue to play. Sit them and let them learn a hard lesson.

but almost WR jumped the gun at least once Sat.. and they all dropped a pass too.

There was a play recently, I think against UConn? Where Lemon took off arena league style. He was 10 yards downfield before the snap. That was great. Would have been greater had the refs been so confused, they just didn't call it. Wouldn't put it past the Big East refs, who I think are more incompetent than crooked. In fact, I think they're too incompetent to pull off crooked.

Refs can call a penalty pretty much every play and has anyone seen those wr offside calls and did they move anymore than usual? The Cincy guard still has material from Googins uniform in his fingernails.

We jumped. No mistaking it.
