The reporters covering programs like Kansas and Duke are just as much die-hard fans as the students and alumni. The local paper wouldn't consider exposing a team-related scandal like the PS did in the early 90s or is trying to do now. Some students writing for the DO have their sights set on a dream gig in NYC and are willing to sell their school up the river in order to obtain it.
