No offense, but if you going to post that crap then why bother clicking on it. I can respect OrangePa's post even though I disagree but he is atleast isn't saying oh geez why this crap again he is giving a legit opinion. Instead, of passive aggressive posts with nothing in them. I post pictures with my opinion I could careless if this is the 1 millionth uniform thread I am making a point which I feel is legitimate. We are the freaking Syracuse ORANGE and yet our football uniforms have the 5th MOST ORANGE in a 14 team conference. However, I am sorry I wasted your time and made you click on this thread. I will be glad to check out your next posts just so I can be passive aggressive and complain for no reason. My opinion is we need Orange top uniforms if you disagree fine, but click on the thread to complain that really contributes I would just ignore it.

The amount of Orange in the uniforms should be the last thing they worry about.
No, it should be high on the list, but it shouldn't take long. Go ORANGE!

exactly.

and the reason why is because there should be so much freakin ORANGE in them, we dont have to worry at all about it.

embarrassing.

I would rather wear all blue than any one of the uniforms on that list. Hideous.

I think "no new uniforms this year" really means "hey, do you like these blue unis? cause if so, this'll be our uniforms next year."

SU has worn the same color scheme (orange helmets, blue jerseys, orange pants) for over 50 years.

Long before most of you were born.

Long before some of you even set foot on campus.

It's not like you weren't warned.

Yeah, how did that work out for them? The tiggies played FSU in their orange palace in orange. Not good. Looking like Virginia - not good. Miami barely got by Wake; you have to think it would have been a lot easier without those orange unis.

Black seems to be a popular color these days.

It's like you're talking about the changing the curtains on the titanic.

Bigger fish to fry. Like WF.

I guess if you compare SU's alternate unis with the alternate unis of other schools, you are correct. When we did wear all orange, everyone threw up on them.
I wish our uniforms sucked more than our play. I wish we had that problem.
Be careful what you wish for - I'm sure it can be arranged (without improving our play).

Some of the unis you posted are those teams' alternate unis. VaTech might have as many uniform combos as Oregon and most of the time, orange is the tertiary color in their unis. Comparing our alternate all-blue with their alternate all-orange isn't really a fair comparison. UVA's uni in that pic is basically just the reverse of our traditional home uni. Clemson has always worn all orange for big games. We wore all-orange a couple of times and probably 95% of posters here HATED them.

Btw, if we wore our traditional 1990s uniforms, that a large portion of posters would like to see, we would still have less orange than the U, Clemson and VaTech unis from your post.

First the shade of Orange we used for the all-Orange looks in the G-Rob era was putrid. We could a better shade of Orange and it would look better. Second, I don't care if UVA and VPI's uniforms are alternate jerseys they wear more Orange in their uniforms than the freaking Syracuse ORANGE do. Third, I don't care that we have an all-blue alternate jersey why the heck can't we have an Orange alternate top jersey. Fourth, I am not demanding we wear all-Orange every game let's just freaking have an Orange top because we are the Orange.

Congrats to your Duke Blue Devils, Cutliffe should be given a nice big fat extension to prevent anybody from going after him I couldn't believe you beat VPI in Lane Stadium. If Stanford can be a top 25 team Duke should be able to be decent year in year out with NC recruiting ground and good school education to offer.

if you are a good smart QB, why would you not go there??

Cutcliffe is recruiting good QBs at Duke. Thad Lewis with the Bills now was his QB at Duke, Sean Renfree their QB last year was awesome, and was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons. Cutcliffe also has on his resume that he coached Peyton and Eli Manning in college and both practice at Duke during the off-season. Cutcliffe has turned around the Duke offense already, but with these back to back bowl seasons he will recruit better athletes to Duke and get a better defense and more depth down there. Duke has the ability to be a perennial 6-9 win team depending on their defense. Syracuse needs to copy Duke's non-conference scheduling for 2 years and schedule some easy wins.

Duke is bowl eligible after 8 games and has won two ACC games against UVA and VPI, but they scheduled smartly beating NC Central, Memphis, Troy, Navy and only needed 2 conference wins to get to a bowl. Duke has NC State, Wake, Miami, North Carolina to end the season and honestly I could see them winning 3 of those 4 and finishing 9-3 which is incredible and shows how good David Cutcliffe is as a coach.

These uniforms are awesome. Perfect shade of Orange, I would copy this shade of Orange and make the uniforms look exactly like they do now with this shade of uniform. What is so hard to ask for the Orange to wear an Orange jersey.
