Syracuse mention on "Homeland" twice,I think

I wonder if there is a connection with the writers I believe the location where Brody's daughter is pick up by the police was suppose to be in Syracuse but the locale wasn't ambiguous gas station convenience store combo on an unrecognizable site.As long as they keep the story line away from that kid as it appears they are doing the show may attain its high level of interest it once had.

I always assume that when a show has a scene taking place at a convenience store, it's probably in Syracuse, too.

I noticed that, but I was really tired so I couldn't really tell if they actually did say Syracuse. Dana and boyfriend got pretty far on $75
