#Syracuse last 4 years: 114-24. Kentucky: 114-27. North Carolina: 108-33. Ohio State: 108-28. Michigan State: 102-36.

(Ok, well i took a leap of faith and didn't look up the #s. As pointed out below this is just a group of top ranked teams. Not the official list. I think the lesson here is to never let the facts get in the way of a good story. Sorry!)

Last 4 years in the Big East (just the main teams):
Syracuse 54-17
Louisville 49-21. 5 GB
Pittsburgh 47-23. 6.5 GB
Marquette 45-25. 8.5 GB.
ND 44-26. 9.5 GB
WVU 41-29. 12.5 GB
UConn 38-32 (15-3 in 2008; 23-29 since then in 3 years). 15.5 GB.
Georgetown 38-32. 15.5 GB.

(well not exactly true. Best record and tied for most wins.)
He is wrong

10. Butler, 105-34
11. VCU 104-37

13. Utah St., 102-31
14. Memphis, 102-32
15. Missouri, 102-33

I don't think the original tweeter claimed Cuse had the most; he was just ocmparing Cuse to other elite programs. OP just assumed it was top 5 in general.

I'm assuming this is including tourney games? If so, smh, SU should have at least 5 more...

When you look the conferences those other teams play in compared to cuse, that is a sick stat right there. SEC has maybe two teams outside of UK, ACC has one team outside of Duke and even they had an NIT year in that span, Kansas is in the Big12 which seemingly has had good teams but when KU can win it 8 straight years, I'm sorry that is not a conference that can hold a candle to the BE over that 4 year period. Can you imagine ANY team winning the Big East regular season 8 straight times? It is preposterous.

Another way to look at it - this will be our fourth year in a row with a top three seed. I think only Duke and Kansas achieved that.
