Syracuse currently has an RPI ranked 5th, a Quality Win/Loss of 7th and an SOS ranked 9th which puts them in position for hosting a first round game. With the ACC tournament coming up, their RPI and SOS will go up regardless of win or loss and their QW will improve with a win or two.

A win against Navy should Lock us in no matter what happens in the ACC. Really hoping NC can do us a huge favor on Saturday, so we don’t have to win 3 games to win the ACC.

SU is near a lock at this point, we have the top 5 win over Duke and wins over pretty much every major bubble team ie Cornell, Rutty, JHU, UNC, Army (to a lesser extent) etc. Only way SU gets left out at this point is if we lost to Navy and UNC in the 4/5 game and even then its probably 50/50. SU will also benefit from Hobart or Albany going on a run in their respective conf tourneys.

Not easy at all for a team to feel almost completely at ease before their season/conference tourney ends. Especially when that team has a loss to a 3-8 team at home under their belts. Incredible achievement by this years squad. Not to mention plenty of the wins were quite convincing and not just one goal contests like 2017. UNC was no slouch, coming off a Duke win and a close game to UVA, and we beat them fair and square on their own field. Haven't felt this much confidence in the team since 2015.
