I think the key to this game is going to be defensive play on both sides. It's pretty obvious to me that Syracuse is going to want to make you guys run between the tackles and throw the ball in situations where routes take a long time to develop. If you guys have success getting the ball into the boundary or isolating outside receivers  I don't see an answer.
You guys will benefit from taking the vertical game away and limiting yards on the ground up the middle. That means giving up the underneath routes in the flat and bracketing the slot to keep an extra backer in the box. I think we're going to have trouble running into the middle of your front 7 as Tillery is so disruptive and Tranquill has been solid when he can sit down and sweep behind the inside gaps. If we start ripping off 8 and 9 yard runs up the middle you guys are in trouble. Or if the ball is popping out of the pocket in less than 3 secs and the receivers are making plays, we'll have a chance.
