Syracuse Offensive Innovation, 1941

Just great.

I saw this story on Twitter (from SI in 1991), and I had never heard of it.
The first time my dad took me to Archbold Stadium to see the Orange play in the fall of 1968, he pointed to a man taking his seat two or three rows ahead of us. “That’s Ken Beehner, who was the reverse center for Ossie Solem.”

It’s a great story - a part of what makes Syracuse University Football so special and so important.
