Said the sports management and communcations school pushed SU to the top. Loved the environment and support from everyone for SU sports. Said Coach Shafer came to his house and made his mother comfortable Syracuse would be a good place for him.

Seems like a bright kid. Really impressed with how he handled himself and answered questions during the announcement.

What an exciting moment to watch. Like the things the analyst said.

20 years ago or so Syracuse was a power competing at the BCS level

They now have a chance to move up quickly and become a power in the ACC & nationally

It was cool watching him actually sign his LOI with his mother looking on.

Ward is left handed. I have no idea, but I wonder if being left handed is of any benefit to a LT?

When Ward was handed his national letter of intent, Darlene would walk onto the set and stand behind her son, watching him put pen to paper and make his decision official.
"This is one of the historical moments in my life," she would say. "It means like $400,000 that I can't afford to pay for an education. This will take a lot of pressure off me."

He gets it.
