Lighten up, Francis. I made a joke, then provided a little clarity to the injury situation.  The original comment sounded as though the impression was that the O-Line injury was a new one, line in flux, etc.  I said it was a few weeks old.

I have no idea who wins this game.  The posts I've read here just seem excessively sure of a win for a team that has typically been a lower tier Big East team playing their first game on the road, that's all.

The Gophers are a probably a year away or more, way too many underclass men playing major minutes.  Nassib seems competent, no doubt.  He'll get his yards against the Gophers, I'm sure of that. The key will be getting it in the end zone.  I think it does help the Gophers that they've been preparing for and playing against wide open spread, no-huddle offenses for several weeks already, even if ones not quite as talented as Syracuse.

But the QB that will play Saturday appears to be the real deal.  Gray would have been a much easier QB for Syracuse to prepare for as most teams they've played haven't had to respect his ability to pass. With the backup, they should be able to move it on the ground and in the air, and like I said, not a lot of film on him. He's played 9 series, thrown 4 TDs, 6 drives of 45 yards or more, and one 3-and-out.  He will not be the reason the Gophers lose.

I think both teams will score, almost at will.  I'm guessing the team that wins the turnover and special teams battle wins the game.
