Does Vegas think the real Montana is throwing the ball on Saturday? I was thinking -17 easy.

Although, If the trap game mantra has any merit, this would be the definition of one I guess.

Is it really a trap game if Cuse has a week off between Tulane and Clemson.;)

A nice win vs Tulane will give the team a big lift and a lot of prep time for Tajh Boyd and company.

The Drew Allen "x-factor" affects the spread. The coaches need to come out and say he's done.

Also, Tulane has some athletes. Their new coach, upcoming on-campus stadium, and move to the American Athletic Conference really helped breathe life into their program. They landed some top level talent in their last recruiting class.

Yeah, the more I think about it, I guess we're still a wildcard team until we play against some D1 talent and perform. I just wasn't impressed with the first half of the LaTech game that I watched.

I just looked at the Tulane board. I thought this post was pretty funny.

weren't they up big initially?
I saw their game against PSU and their qb didn't look great.

They switched qb's and their offense took off. Sux, wish they would've stuck with the s h *t ty guy a lil bit longer. Hopefully we can catch them underestimating us, whilst looking ahead to Clemson.

OrangeCrush can you forward that to HCSS and the rest of the staff. Maybe some true insight from Tulane supporters will help them make a decision on the QB.

Tulane corners can stay with our wr's and that can let them try to stuff the run. The SU defense will play well as long as they don't let up any big plays. Specials have to be solid at the very least.

Amazing how good QB play inspires a defense. Watched a replay of your Wagner win and saw your team 'emerge' behind Hunt.
The corollary is how poor QB play will deflate the defense. I imagine the 6 picks in your first two games hung over the team like the stench of Bourbon Street at 7AM in the summer. Anyway, nice win.
Currently we are a good football team and for Tulane that's 'goin' some'. We are a year away from being a very good football team.
Our Achilles heal is the o-line. They are improved over last year because of coaching, a year under their very young belts and the return from injury of a senior center. In order of strengths: (1) Secondary; (2) D-line; (3) WRs; (4) RBs; (5-t) QB&LBs.
Kicking game A+, Punting B-.
Coming up for game, looking forward to 'fall' weather and tailgating with TexanMark and his Krewe.
Play Well. I hope we are competitive.

Pins and Needles. Last year our long snapper was a graduate transfer from U of Ga. that says it all. This year we have not settled on a long snapper, none are worthy! If he misses it will be a botched snap or a block, otherwise he is money. The fans are more nervous than he is.

This is random, but, did anyone else order Tulane All-Access in order to watch the Cuse/Tulane game from 2 years ago? Single worst $10 I have ever spent in my life.

I feel like I could find higher quality video production from our 1959 season than that crap.

Does this mean you missed out on Deuce McAlliser's electrifying commentary? For shame...

up to -14.5. Finally approaching equilibrium.

up to -15.5 at .com

I think there was some real value at that opening 12ish number

Actually it opened at 10.5. The initial jumps appear to be related to the news involving our kicker. Our back up is a walk on freshman.
80% our All American is at Syracuse. This team has strong characters. Family.
15.5 too, too much. IMHO.

It was 10.5 for 90 seconds. No offense to the groza winner but it didn't jump to 12.5 due to him IMHO

I don't know how Tulane keeps any of their players eligible. If I went to school in New Orleans, I would spend every minute on Bourbon street and flunk out in a semester...or be 500 pounds...or both.

I took Cuse at 14.5...wish I caught it at 12.5. Those 2 points can make a big difference.
