Down to -3 at a lot of places . I know this sounds really weird, but this is good news for us !

Just rebound a little and we win easily. might want to show better than the other night though.

The Louisville line went the other way and we thought it was nuts, but it was right.

I see SU -3 1/2 this morning. Knock on wood, that is a very conservative line for a home game. I have watched last 3 Pitt games and they have mailed it in on defense. Wake Forest gifted them the game this week, it looked like NBA ALL-Star game defensively.

I think Dixon gets extra satisfaction out of beating cuse. I'm sure he will have his guys ready to foul us all day (without us getting the calls like usual).

I agree with your Dixon comment. Pitt plays tough. Last game against them Robinson got 2 early fouls called on him which really hurt Pitt. Hopefully the refs call a tight game which will favor Syracuse.

That's exactly where it should be for the home-court advantage. RPI shows them (incredibly) dead even as of this morning:

Also against the top-100, Pitt is 6-6, SU 7-8. Obviously a huge swing game today for both NCAA seeding as well as the ACC Standings (if we lose will be tough to get better than an 8-seed in ACC Tourney due to Pitt's tie-breaker).

Robinson: shows how recruiting and HS reps are misleading. At DeMatha, he was regarded as a sure-fire difference-maker, 4 star , forged in the tough DC Parochial league. On paper, looked like a great get for Pitt.
The reality is, he is extremely limited athletically, slow, a butt like Oprah, and has a below average outside shot. His stellar assist/turnover ratio looks to be the result of low-risk passing around the perimeter for teammates threes. His ability to penetrate and draw defenses away from the basket is not there either. I'm not a fan of this guy's game, obviously.

He's won a lot of games at Pitt and also hits a dagger against SU.

Disagree. He isn't the most athletic kid in the world but he's a leader, makes great decisions with the ball, and hits huge shots. I would take him on my team any day of the week.
