Syracuse ranks high among signings of ESPN Top 100 recruits

Surprised to see Baylor on that list. Also, Texas and Arizona have really underachieved.

Baylor buys. I can't sign up for the notion that kids want to play for that wormy coach they have

I'm surprised by Nova having so many, but they did have some highly-rated classes, coming off that Final Four trip. They've had some injuries and off the court stuff, but Jay Wright's teams have certainly underperformed of late, considering the talent he's brought in.

Nova surprised me, but even more telling is that with all that talent Kentucky has:
08-09: NIT
09-10: elite 8
10-11 Final 4
11-12: National Champion
12-13:NIT (first round)
just saying that numbers arent everything, oh yeah, did you notice that and the hoyas are absent from that list as well?

the counts are also influenced by how long your players stay. When Kentucky turns over most of their freshman class every year, that gives them more slots to get more and increase the counts. JB tends to make them bide their time and thus would have fewer overall incoming.

Selector school

I am confident that if we wanted we could have all, or almost all top 100 recruits if we wished, but JB/Hop like to mix in a few 4 year program guys each season.

Ohio State not being on there was surprising.

You won't hear me complaining. I loathe Ohio State.

I am surprised by Louisville. Great job by their staff evaluating talent.

Numbers aren't anything? I see an elite 8, a final 4 and a NC. I hate Kentucky as much as the next guy, but come on, 2 NIT's wrapped around that is impressive.

Especially how many of those top 100 guys were on the 09 team?
