Yep. And that same writer actually stopped kissing Doreen and Clawsons boots to give the right assessment: NC State will be better, but not great and Wake is rebuilding and will suck.

If teams can pass SU will be in trouble so depending on the strengths on who SU plays this W-L thing could fall into a 4-8 to 10-2 range and to be honest I'm still not sure how this team will do until the fall.

From the sound of it, Wake will be lucky to win a conference game this year. No depth, no experience, limited talent.

An ESPN writer thinks we'll go 8-5 this season? I consider that serious progress.
on top of having one of the toughest schedules in the country (as written by an analyst)? wow, that is progress haha

They are also implementing new schemes on offense and defense...not good for the Demon Deacons.

Plus one of Wakes D linemen who played in 7 games last year and would have been a starter this year decided to transfer...Joe Looney. I am sure y'all remember his hair.

How do you leave out Ashton Broyld performance but mention Kobena?

Andrea Adelson has already said there is a good chance SU gets to 8 wins. She has been very bad and less than informed (pretty common for journos these days) but she has been getting better.
