Syracuse to Play Florida Southern College in Preseason Exhibition Game

The Moccasins are tentatively scheduled to open the season with two preseason exhibition games at defending NCAA Division I champion Duke on Oct. 30 and Syracuse on Nov. 8. The Mocs are slated to open up the regular season in the Sunshine State Conference/Gulf State Conference Challenge at West Alabama on Nov. 13.

Florida Southern's first home game will be a SSC showdown against last year's SSC tournament runner-up Barry on Nov. 18.

We had exhibitions with Carleton on Nov 2 and Yo Adrian on Nov 10.

Awesome. My Dad is an alum of FSC, Class of 1951. They looked pretty good winning the D-2 National Championship last year. Not sure what they lost. BTW, they have a very nice campus in Lakeland, Fl that has ten buildings and two other structures designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. It is the largest single site collection of FLW architecture in the world.

One of my best friends in college is from Lakeland and did some teaching at Florida Southern. I knew there was some reason this school sounded familiar to me but I hadn't looked into it yet.
