The region's loss depends on percentage of people who live locally and also what people spend the money on. If they would otherwise attend several games, maybe they take a trip instead to spend on an experience. But to pretend that a lot of that spend isn't gone is to be blinded by your previously expressed displeasure with stadium deals.
