Syracuse fans have always supported a winner and they will again. The destruction of the team against FSU, Clemson and GT killed it for many of the fence sitters. Win or not tomorrow we will be back. I truly believe that Shafer is the right guy for this program. He is a blue collar guy for a blue collar town. As to the O McDonald will either get it right over the next two years or he will be gone. I think that as far as the rest of the staff goes we are in good hands. Recruiting is only going to get better. Being in the ACC is huge and it is just starting to pay dividends. This class is shaping up to be our best in years and they are only going to get better. ACC exposure is just starting and ACC dollars are going to make a huge difference. And yes the IPF will be built. Bank it. Next year and going forward we are going to see a more friendly schedule. No more need to play a brutal schedule to make up for a lack of competition and dollars from the big east. I know that many complain about the NYC games but you have to remember the enviornment in which those games were scheduled. At the time it was brilliant. It ensured that we remained in the National spot light and it was a great pay day also helped with recruiting. Good move at the time and still a good move. So with the exposure of finacial security of the ACC, A staff that will only get better, Recruiting on the up swing, a more friendly schedule, and yes the IPF the future looks good. On this a day of thanks lets give thanks that we landed in the ACC and that we know that better days for our beloved program are ahead. Go Orange Beat BC!!
