I hope that we pound the ball today. Watching Wake we have to commit to the run. Keep AJ out of trouble run the ball between the tackles and hit them with some play action. I think that we can dominate them up front and i expect us to win this game going away on the ground.

I watched the games again this week and the one game that really bothers me is Maryland as it was the same situation just that George didnt see it. In short we could have run for a 1000 yards that game. If he had just stuck to the ground we would have won that game going away. If you watch the game again it will make you sick and also glad that we made the change on him. Same thing today run the ball and if we dont have success early keep running it. Make the stuff the box at which point we should be able to pass. Wake is exceptional in the DB department and we are going to have to be extremely careful to put AJ in winning situations. Should be a fun game one that i believe we win going away with a strong second half.

I made the same observation right after the game, that we should have just kept pounding the ball. There was almost no legitimate reason to do anything else if we wanted to win that game. At least until MD stopped us from running.

i thought that was our worst effort rushing since the Vill game. 200 yds with a 90 yd thrown in. ran for 3 yds a carry other than that. it will be a struggle next week.
