This is a totally different team than we have seen in past years. We have dominated every game, defense, offense, special teams. We have possibly the best QB in college football, we are deep in quality running backs, we are well coached. I know that we haven’t played the elites but we have pushed each team around just as they would. I really believe we we will win this game and might not even be a nail biter.
Now I will have another shot of Jameson.

You're damn right we will. We're gonna shove that true freshmans face into the heckin' dirt. We're gonna win by multiple scores. Dungey > than freshman "phenom".

Now it's past my bed time and i'll be taking my leave.

I don't think we're going to win, but it made me happy that Venables appears to be keying in on Dungey as a runner. Moe Neal has been really good this year and pretty under the radar. At the very least he is way better than he was last year. I know he is watching all of the film (in fact, I'm sure he knows what Neal had for breakfast), but selling out to cover Dungey could open up some running lanes for Moe.

I love the enthusiasm! Other than the fact that we are playing at Clemson, I think we are better poised to beat them this year and it would be less of a surprise compared with last year's victory. But, being able to do it twice in a row, would be a remarkable feat. I truly believe it will be a very good game and I am going to drive my family crazy with my pacing and all the weird superstitious things I do with these kinds of games (basketball and football) that are filled with tension and excitement. I may need to find a new coping strategy...or dig up a prior bad habit...

Somebody accused me of drinking earlier when I said the same thing. Clemson's a really good team, but I think we match up well with them.

Lost me at dungey being the best qb but I dig it

Care to list who is better.

The only guy I was willing to credit as maybe being better is Herbert (Tua doesn't count b/c of his team) but that dude just blew a 3 possession lead with a couple minutes to play. Not sure how much of that was his fault but that program was seconds away from being back to where they were under Kelly and Helfrich's first year and somehow messed it up.

A guy like Finley is a better pro prospect and is going to likely go 1st round but you think hes coming into the Dome in a month and outplaying Dungey and putting up better stats? I'd be shocked if that happened even if we lose the game I think Dungey will be the better player (not pro prospect) that day and the guy I want on my team.

Our best chance is to ratlle the QB. He's never seen it before. Not at this level. He's taken 1 sack on the year. We had 4 vs. Clemson, last year. I think we can improve on that, and have a bunch of knockdowns. Rattle the kids confidence, and then we have a game.

This is absolutely the key to this game. This kid needs to get hit early and often. Welcome to big time college football son!

I'm glad ya'll have a good feeling about the game. I don't and I am usually wrong. I think we lose a heart breaker.
I hate being right because I'm a pessimist. It just felt like it would be one of those guys bunch games.

Sorry but doesn't seem to have it between the ears.....as a freshman I compared him to Staubach.....not really...hasn't gotten there. Has to be smarter.
