finish the season 5-2 in BE and 8 win season...trending upwards... I mean why not... #BELIEVE

If you include the bowl game that would make 4 games, no?

Look at the helmets - the bottom row mirroring the top trend is now established. Meaning that we'll beat Louisville, lose to Missou, and beat Temple. Beef O'Brady, here we come!

if we get bowl eligible were no going to beef bowl as bigeast is going to have 5 at the most bowl eligible teams

...Yeah I see Cuse going to Birmingham or Yankee Stadium if we win 6. I think 6 wins is our regular season ceiling.

I'll have what your drinking tonight. It is much stronger than the orange kool aid I'm drinking

6 wins and we're almost guaranteed Pinstripe or Belk.

I stand corrected.

If we simulate favored games as wins, we'd come out with the following:

Bowl
BCS(#1): Louisville - 12-0
Russel Athletic(#2): Rutgers - 10-2
Belk(#3): Cincinnati - 9-3
Pinstripe(#4) or BBVA Compass/Liberty(#5): Syracuse - 6-6 (we'd be 5-7 in favored games, but for the point of the post let's say we beat Temple and Missouri)
Pinstripe(#4) or BBVA Compass/Liberty(#5): Pittsburgh - 6-6

No-Bowl
Temple - 5-7 (with Hawaii addition)
USF - 3-9
UConn - 3-9

Not sure how this works, but from Wiki it says "The #5 selection from the Big East will face either the #8 or 9 team (shared pick) from the SEC in the BBVA Compass Bowl or the C-USA champion in the Liberty Bowl."

If it came down to a tie with Pitt, I think Pinstripe might just choose Pitt to have a different team (SU year 1, Rutgers year 2). I don't think there's any tie-breaker(?), but instead comes down to who the bowl prefers.

if your one game better, can a bowl not choose the team below you if that happened?

AFAIK, they can choose whoever they want. Below. So Russel Athletic could take Pitt over Rutgers, for example. I believe something like that happened when we went to the Pinstripe Bowl (I think it was over Pitt?). Not sure about the BCS Bowls.

Cuse travels waaaaaaay better to NYC than Pitt...If both have 6 wins they'll take Cuse. I gotta think the sign out in left field is the tie-breaker.

Yeah, I'm just being a typical negative SU fan and preparing myself for the disappointment. :D
