Hey, how many of you guys are in the Syracuse vicinity? We should meet up some time for a Saturday or Sunday morning double header. Wolf's, across from City Hall, used to open on the weekends for Premier League games, and who doesn't like a little early morning weekend buzz? LOL But they closed back during COVID. I don't really have any friends who are soccer fans, and it's a drag. I've tried to get several of them interested, and it just doesn't take. I compared soccer to lacrosse, basketball (fast breaks, zone defenses) and even rugby (fluid flow to the game, no real line of scrimmage, physical game, etc.). One guy I know loves watching GOLF, FFS, and he has the nerve to say he finds soccer boring! LOL One buddy of mine watched the 2022 World Cup Final with me, and had a great time watching Argentina v. France (such a game!). But he had a stroke a few months later, and doesn't really get out much anymore. I don't know if anyone knows of any bars in the Syracuse area that's open on the weekends for Premier League Mornings, but I'd love to be able to hang out and shoot the bull with other fans who actually follow the sport. So, if any of you has a place you can recommend, share it here. Let's get together sometime this fall to watch a couple games.
