We were very reactive for most of his tenure in about the first 8 years. Perhaps that is because his hands were full with other infrastructure projects that needed to be done. Ultimately, I just don’t think he was a culture fit at Syracuse to say he was an A chancellor, he could be at Michigan. He is leaving at the right time. The next chancellor I hope is much more of a ‘people’ person because I think it’s what Syracuse needs in its leader at a university that is very unique in Syracuse. [/QUOTE]
