Still a little bothered about the debacle when Babers seemed like he was going for it and changed his mind and they ran out to kick the FG and had to call TO. First time I can remember Babers doing that.

It looked like offense did a little wrinkle to try and catch them off guard and potentially draw them offsides. Don't mind burning the TO in that situation. If we we're trailing then that would have been concerning. But it turned out to be a good TO and not let the kicker rush one because he did miss wide left.
No doubt the TO had to be called but there wasn't any real play to even to try to get them offsides. Coach seemed like he was and then he wasn't and waited a bit too long. Usually, Babers is quicker at that.

I am glad you started this thread. In all the hoopla, he was kind of forgotten. He might be the best kicker in the country and he's ours and he's a freshman. Smyzt happens!

Yeah, I think they were going for the 'drawn offsides' play. But it was weird. You must take the 3 there and make the difference 10. its automatic.
