The rookie finished the race with just one shoe after losing one late in the race, en route to a first-place finish with a time of 3:47.85. The win continued a string of dominance for Knight, who has competed just three times individually for the Orange in his career, setting a pair of school records and now taking an ACC Championship in his freshman campaign. The Orange also got points from the 110-meter hurdles, with [URL='http://cuse.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=11882'][U]Freddie Crittenden[/U][/URL] (13.74) and [URL='http://cuse.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=11907'][U]Donald Pollitt[/U][/URL] (14.06) taking third and fourth respectively in the event.
