I'm kind of torn on the issue of an outdoor stadium at Syracuse though.  On the one hand you can say that 'Hey, as long as you prepare and dress for it, you'll be fine', but on the other hand, I remember days on the Hill as being so incredibly cold that it didn't matter what you wearing, the wind and cold bit right through everything.

It's a fun discussion but the point is moot.  There really is reason no to sink hundreds of millions of dollars into a new facility when really, there is nothing wrong with the Dome.

If the football program ever gets itself to a point where they are like Michigan and could easily sell 100,000 tickets to every game, then maybe have the discussion.  I tend to think though that if it ever does get to that point that, first - I'll be long dead, and second - they'd probably just figure a way to either expand the Dome or just tear it down and build a bigger one it's place.
