Still only a few years removed from his record-setting college career at Syracuse, John Galloway is considered one of the greatest goalies in the game of lacrosse. Guiding the Rochester Rattlers to a championship appearance in 2014, Galloway was named Major League Lacrosse's Goalie of the Year at the end of his fourth season in the league.
After a year as the volunteer assistant at Duke, Galloway was hired as a full-time assistant at Providence College and now spends a great deal of time on the road at recruiting tournaments and showcases.
3d Rising caught up with Galloway -- who was recently signed as an STX athlete -- to talk about his own recruiting experience as a player, some of the changes in recruiting, Providence's philosophy and more.
