obviously it helps cement JB's legacy but we all know he only has 4 years left max ;)

also 100% wipes away any minimal doubt that we could be a viable top flight program after the sanction debacle ( the #narrative). even in a mediocre season that had some contemplating a potential losing record, we are on the big stage. I'm sure we converted some youngin's into fans. hopefully a few of them have game.

we've got some real talent coming in next year, and probably need some more

we also have no one committed beyond and a change of regime on the horizon, so I wonder what tangible effect this FF run will have on the program

can this sway a few major recruits in the next 2-3 years?

did this run add some coin (probably overseas) for the likes of Cooney, Robe and DC?

if all breaks right and we have another deep run next year, followed by departures of Battle, Lydon and Mal, does this year help us lock and reload with 4+ top recruits, followed by another similar class?

what am I not even thinking about?

The effect you've overlooked? This Final Four run has at least temporarily caused some illustrious posters to cut back on their activity or drop out of sight altogether.

So hard to tell. Did it cost a championship possibility for next year by causing Richardson to leave? Who knows. College basketball is so transient now that building anything lasting is way more difficult than it used to be. I'm very excited about Battle and Moyer and Chukwu though. And of course Frank really has great potential, Lydon will be a conference 1st teamer, and DC should be a force. Even without Mali, we will compete and win some big games. I'm cautious about Roberson. I really hope he stays, but his happiness with the situation at Syracuse is hard to gauge. He could definitely get a job overseas.
