Big 12 interim commissioner Chuck Neinas had said the conference wasn't looking into Texas expansion, but that has apparently changed. And whether or not Missouri bolts the conference for the SEC, the Big 12 could potentially be looking for new schools.
"All signs Wednesday pointed to TCU gaining steam in those expansion deliberations, along with Brigham Young and a collection of Big East teams headed by Louisville, Cincinnati and West Virginia," Burch writes.
