It couldn't get much worse.

This team is going nowhere unless it fixes this issue.

20 less possessions in a game and only lose by 4

8-28 is unacceptable

other than the x I thought we were the better team

I can't figure out FO'S , The rules, the type of players who dominate change constantly IMO. The Old days you get a brute/Groundhog and you win the majority of FO's Today's game i don't know. You can't tell me that SU dosen't get the Best FO'S recruit's in the Country  I thought after the previous 2 games it was fixed :noidea: I remember the Capone Kid from H20 Town was a stud at the X but I guess he went to wrestle somewhere. :noidea:

I felt like our wings were as much if not more to blame for the disparity in FO's yesterday seeming to fail at every opportunity to pick up the ground ball once it came out and then several times picked it up but turned it over when they got hit or whacked by the UVA wing. I do agree if we don;t address this facit asap, we're in trouble.

Good point re the wings. They did pretty well in the previous two games, so this should be fixable.

Re technique, I don't think current rules reward brute force. The FO guy at the local H.S. last year had a monster win percentage and was all of 5' 8" and 160 lbs dripping wet.

Also, it should be kept in mind that UVA's Benincasa is arguably the best FO guy in D1.

Mullins is already part of the faceoff unit as one of the LSM's on the wing.

Years back the ball was placed between the backs of the two sticks and held in place by them. It was much fairer and I don't understand why they ever changed the rule.

Out of the 8-28, how many were "actually" won/lost and how many were given up by each team due to rules violations?
