It's heavily dependent on having at least one but preferably a couple of highly skilled guards/wings that are able to beat their man off the dribble and create for themselves or others. We don't really have guys with that consistent skill on this team right now (the closest is probably Starling, but he can be pretty inefficient and is not a great passer). And unfortunately, Donnie is not really that type of player either, so even if he does come back and even if I do think that he's the best player on the team right now, he's not the "star" that's going to make this offense hum exponentially better against good opponents.
