in the last 3 games:
Gtown - 10 pts under scoring average (with overtime)
UConn - 1 pt under
LVille - 20 pts under scoring average.

Holding teams an average of 10.33 ppg under their scoring average over the toughest three-game stretch of the season is the reason we will go deep in the tourney. Defense wins championships, and we're still winning consistently, even when we have the worst jump-shooting game of (probably) all time. On the road. Against a top-20 team. Against a system that eats us up.

I honestly think it will come down to our 3 point shooting. Our defense is no joke, teams are gonna struggle to score against us in the tourny. When we're knocking down 3's, we're dare i say it unbeatable. When we're clanking them its gonna be a grind.

Gtown and Uconn played slow the ball down basketball against our zone. Gtown passed through our zone at a rediculous speed.

Our defense against Ville was good. At home against Gtown was actually the worse of the three despite the stat showing they were held 10 under. It was poor pass denial and they utilized the whole halfcourt against us. Of course gtown has thrived on the free throw line all year.
