Latest Bracketology. Palm has SU #4 in west vs #13 Akron, #5 Wisconsin, #1 Zags
Lunardi has SU #4 in East vs #13 Davidson, #5 OK St., #1 Indiana
Both have us 1st rd in Austin, TX.
Akron is a better 1st rd match since they play a fast paced game while Davidson plays a disciplined half court game. Don't want to see Wiscy again but prefer the Zags to IU.
My list of teams to avoid:
-Duke- (multiple good 3 pt shooters plus a big scoring center. Nightmare for the zone.
-Indiana- same as Duke but even more athletic. We couldn't score enough to stay with them.
- VCU- great press, 'nuf said after last night.
- St. Louis- half court meat grinder. Animals on the boards. Extremely disciplined. Good shooters.
Pitt with a much better offense.
- Ohio St.- Craft would hound MCW forcing TO's and disrupting the offense. Thomas is another Porter.
Very physical centers that will overpower BMK/Rak.
- Kansas St.- all the key players back from the team we beat last year. We couldn't handle their 6'11 center at all. And we don't have Dion and Scoop this time.
