Most "Religious" people only pray when things are bad (like illness and death) and ignore their God when things are going well (life and health). "Religious" people filled Churches, Mosques, Synagogues, etc. after 9/11 and asked "God why?" and have long since emptied out since. "Religious" people also flew the planes into the towers on 9/11.
 
People with a Spiritual Relationship with God, Jesus, The Profit Muhammad, or whatever they believe give thanks at all times regardless of magnitude or who's watching. They do what they do with or without recognition from other people to try and be a betterment to mankind as a whole regardless of their beliefs or non beliefs all while giving thanks to their God.
 
The reason Christianity follows him in every conversation is because it's a polarizing fact and you can't hear any sports talk conversation in the media without it being brought up. Media outlets are a whore and if people were indifferent to what Tebow does aside from his play on the field, they wouldn't cover it and ask everyones opinion of it.
 
Tebow? He's a winner with an ugly throwing motion and accuracy issues. I like him and respect him for being the same person on the field as he is off it. It's refreshing to see from a professional athlete regardless of his beliefs.
