Their tickets for wrestling sell out before the season starts. They had a tiny shot at becoming relevant when they first built Bryce Jordan; it didn't happen and now basketball is in a more hopeless situation than it was 30 years ago.  The best they can do is hire mid-major coaches and hope they have a few good seasons before moving on to another power program...and start the cycle all over again.

(As an aside, I live in PA and cannot believe how big wrestling became in the last decade.   Lot of predominately minority schools in the middle of PA that either had no program or one that couldn't fill out all the weight classes back in the 90s and 2000's that are going two deep now.  Going to my son's wrestling tournaments, its amazing how much more diverse the backgrounds of the youth wrestlers are now than when I was a kid.)
