Tennis Continues Home Stretch
For the second weekend in a row the women's tennis team will compete before a home crowd at Drumlins Tennis Center. In the two day competition the Orange will take on the University of Albany and Fairleigh Dickinson University.?
Scouting Syracuse
- Began the season at No. 68 and currently sit at No. 53 in the latest ITA polls
- Cuse comes off a strong finish, defeating Cornell 5-2
- Currently 4-1 this year, with No.7 Alabama taking the only win away from the Orange.
- Valeria Salazar and Komal Safdar are still ranked No. 59 in the doubles poll.
Scouting Albany
- The Great Danes competed in their first competition of 2015 last weekend at Sportime in Schenectady and overtook Siena (5-2) and Providence (5-2).
- Albany is unranked in this week's ITA poll.
Scouting Fairleigh Dickinson
- Sunday's match against the Orange will mark the first competition for the Knights this season
- Finished last season with tough matches at the 2014 ITA Women's Regional in October, finishing the weekend with three losses in singles play.
Competition begins Saturday when 'Cuse takes on Albany at 11 a.m. and continues Sunday at 11 a.m. against Fairleigh Dickinson.
