Tennis Set for Pair of ACC Weekend Matches
'Cuse welcomes Pitt to Drumlins Tennis Center Sunday
The Syracuse tennis team will play a pair of ACC matches this weekend, traveling to Notre Dame on Friday and hosting Pitt on Sunday.
Ranking the Orange
- Syracuse enters Friday's match boasting its highest rank in program history at No. 34.
- The first ITA computer rankings came out on Tuesday, and the Orange jumped up 25 places.
- Syracuse is 2-3 against other ranked foes this season.
Scouting Syracuse
- 'Cuse enters the weekend searching for its first ACC win after falling to No. 7 Virginia last Saturday.
- The Orange are 0-2 in league play after also falling to Boston College this season.

Scouting the Irish
- Notre Dame marks the third-straight ranked opponent Syracuse has faced, entering the weekend ranked No. 26.

Scouting Pitt
- Pittsburgh enters the weekend 2-5, coming off a loss to Notre Dame last Saturday.
- The Panthers are 0-3 against ranked opponents this season.
- Pitt takes on No. 5 Virginia Friday before traveling to Syracuse.

- The home match against Pitt is Syracuse's first in three weeks and the team has plenty of incentives for #OrangeNation to show up at the match.
- Free pizza will be available for all spectators between the doubles and singles matches.

Friday's match is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. and the Orange welcome Pitt to Drumlins Tennis Center at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
