The NCAA blows. Kid was basically 1 game short of qualifying for it from 2014. I don't think he would see the field of given year 6 but the NCAA doesn't know that and doesn't care either way

My lasting memory of Terrel will be his game winning run in the 2013 Texas Bowl and his MVP in this game.

I belive the problem is the his initial redshirt year wasn't injury related. In order to get 6 years a player has to miss two years due to injury.

You are correct same thing happened to WR Aaron Weaver in 2010. He red shirted at Hofstra, but they could not proof the injury and he was denied his 6th year

His RS Freshman year would have been 2011, I do not believe he hand an injury that year.

I imagine this wasn't a huge surprise to him but it is too bad, I wanted really badly for him to be a huge success here. He had some tough circumstances between injuries and some awful play calling. Sad to hear he doesn't get one more chance to deliver on his promise under more ideal circumstances.

With our existing and incoming talent Hunt was getting a lot of competition for the role, though, and it would have been quite a battle in the spring. Hope Hunt sticks around the program and can give back from his experience.
