This is all about stability and the ACC will have 9 even in the worst-case scenario. A Big East with teams like South Florida, TCU, and a best-case scenario of no one leaving, and picking up teams in Kansas and Iowa, is still very unstable. All it takes is one Big East football school leaving and the whole thing will unravel. I think we've seen from BC that if the ACC has 9 and offers a Big East school that more stability, that they'll go.
